We here at ThirstyHead have been listening to Sven Haiges and Glen Smith do the Grails Podcast show for almost as long as it's been on the air. It's our way of keeping up with news and events in the Groovy and Grails community.

Tim Berglund on Decision Making in Software Teams at DOSUG

Tim is presenting at the Denver Open Source User Group tonight (Tuesday, March 2) at 5:30pm. His topic is "Decision Making in Software Teams".

We understand the importance of good communication, and take steps to improve in that capacity. Rarely, however, do we acknowledge the role of decision making in the life of software teams, what can cause it to go wrong, and how to improve it.

The DOSUG meeting is at the Microsoft office, 7595 Technology Way, Suite 400, Denver, CO 80237. For maps and more information, see the DOSUG homepage.

Tim Berglund joins ThirstyHead

We here at ThirstyHead could not be more happy to announce that Tim Berglund has joined the ranks.

Tim fits the ThirstyHead mold perfectly: he's a speaker on the international conference circuit (and, of course, NFJS); he helps lead a couple of the prominent user groups in the Denver area (IASA Denver and the Denver Open Source Users Group (DOSUG)); and he's got a upcoming O'Reilly book coming out this year: Deploying Grails.

You'll see a lot more of Tim's talent around here at ThirstyHead in the coming weeks. Welcome aboard, Tim!
